Yellow stuff in macaroni and cheese is toxic too

Who doesn't love a bubbling bowl of macaroni and cheese? The dish is especially popular with children, but there's something consumers should know. The yellow dye in the cheese contains benzidine and 4-aminobiphenyl, both of which are known to cause cancer in humans and may cause allergies. The macaroni and cheese additive is now the target of consumers who are requesting that the dye be removed from Kraft products. The dyes, yellow #5 and yellow #6 are not put in Kraft products sold in the UK.
