Free Prenatal Classes For Expectant Parents
If you are thinking about becoming pregnant or just found out that you are, then consider attending the early pregnancy prenatal classes offered by the Community Health Services Department.
These classes are free of charge and consist of 2 hour classes once a week for three weeks.
Early pregnancy prenatal classes give your child a healthy start to life. The classes cover the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy, the stages of growth and development of the fetus, and common tests and procedures during pregnancy. In addition, expectant mothers and their partners will be provided with resources to make informed decisions about physical activity, healthy eating, medications, workplace safety, tobacco use and exposure, alcohol, and other factors that influence the health of the baby.
