Hide Unsightly Cellulite with This New No-Nonsense Solution
Do you suffer from cellulite? While getting rid of cellulite can take time and become rather costly, here is one way guaranteed to hide unsightly cellulite with this new no-nonsense solution.
“Nine out of ten of you may have it, and not a single one of you wants it - I’m talking about cellulite,” says Dr. Oz as he introduces stylist Denise Caldwell who explains how switching from wearing elastic band type underwear with seamless light fabric underwear minimizes the appearance of cellulite.
One guest named Stacy comes on stage and tells viewers that she - like many women - suffers from cellulite on her buttocks and thighs that looks like bubbled-up fat. A fact of life that forces her resort to wearing wraps over her bathing suit to hide her legs.
“I never wear shorts - ever, ever, ever - if I do, they come down to hear,” she says pointing to the mid-thigh region of her legs.
Fortunately, those wrap days at the beach and long-legged shorts may be behind Stacy as Stylist Denise Caldwell explains one of the mistakes women make when it comes to cellulite and what they can do about it.
“Ladies are getting it wrong with their underwear…elastic is your enemy,” says Ms. Caldwell who explains that the elastic increases the appearance of cellulite by cutting off circulation as well as causing a quite-visible panty line showing through your clothing.
While alternative solutions in the past have been to “go commando” or wear thongs, Ms. Caldwell tells viewers that there are panty alternatives that replace elastic bands around the waist and legs with a combination of latex and spandex.
“When you are thinking about underwear, try to stay away from the cotton, because when you have softer materials [like a latex/spandex combo]―it lays smoother on there,” says Ms. Caldwell.
As a demonstration of the difference between wearing normal elastic band cotton panties versus a seamless spandex type, Dr. Oz shows some before and after pictures of a woman’s buttocks that illustrates a remarkable difference between the two underwear types as the spandex results in more lifting of the skin, making the buttocks smoother with less pronounced dimpling that is the tell-tale sign of a cellulite problem.
“It will save your life—change your underwear style and change your life,” says Ms. Caldwell.
