Death Risk Higher for Heart Patients with Impaired Kidneys

Impaired kidney function raises the risk of death, cardiovascular death and hospitalization in people with worsening chronic heart failure, according to a report in Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association.

"We and other investigators have shown that in patients with heart failure with low pumping function, impaired kidney function leads to an even worse prognosis.
