Company Violated Trust By Shipping Salmonella-Laced Peanut Butter

The recent outbreak of salmonella-laced peanut butter and recalls have killed eight people and made 575 people sick. Now FDA says that the Georgia-based Peanut Corporation of America has knowingly shipped tainted Peanut Butter products even after they tested positive for Salmonella.

AP reports reads "as far back as 2007, salmonella-laced products were shipped by a Georgia peanut company that knew the peanuts probably were tainted and sometimes after tests confirmed that contamination, inspection records show."
