Salmonella Outbreak Affects Arizona

Federal, state and local authorities are investigating a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella affecting Arizona that may be linked to eating uncooked tomatoes.


So far, five people from four counties in Arizona have been sick with a strain of Salmonella called Salmonella St. Paul.

There has been one case in Maricopa County; one case in Pima County; two cases in Apache County; and one case in Coconino County. Other cases are under investigation.
