Livingston County Department of Public Health would like to remind all homeowners and Retail Food Establishments in areas affected by power outages to monitor closely temperatures of all potentially hazardous food in refrigeration units.

LCDPH recommends that potentially hazardous foods such as meats, poultry, fish and milk products be discarded should temperatures in refrigeration units exceed 45
