Alberta Expands Support For Mental Health Research

Alberta government has allocated $6.65 million to attract international experts and expand mental health research in the province over the next five years.


The new Mental Health Research Chairs Program, led by the Alberta Mental Health Board and its partners, aims to recruit international mental health experts to Alberta universities and regional health authorities to determine the most effective ways to deliver mental health services and treatment.
