MRSA Skin Infection Found In School
MRSA skin infection is found in several schools, Mt. Pleasant Township school warns parents on MRSA.
"Dear Mt. Pleasant Township Parents and Guardians,
"We have a reported case of MRSA in the school district. The good news is that it is treatable by regular antibiotics. All MRSA is treatable; however, some strains require special antibiotics. We disinfect the locker rooms and restrooms daily. We also have disinfecting hand sanitizer in each classrom. While this is not cause for alarm, I wanted you to know the facts as opposed to rumors. If you want additional information regarding MRSA, contact your child's school health clinic."
