Linn County Leads The Nation In Smoke-Free Pledges
We surpassed the goal of 500 smoke-free pledges.
With less than one month remaining, let's push the number of pledges received over 700.
The Smoke-Free County Challenge is sponsored by the National Association of Counties and the Environmental Protection Agency. NACo is challenging counties to collect the most Smoke-Free pledges. By taking the pledge, participants agree to keep their homes and cars smoke-free. The Linn County Board of Supervisors and the Linn County Board of Health jointly registered Linn County as a participant in the challenge. The main goal of the Challenge is to protect children from secondhand smoke.
