Prepare for Weather Emergencies
This includes hypothermia, loss of heat and power, and hazardous driving conditions. It's important to be prepared and to follow basic safety tips in order to protect yourselves and your loved ones.
- During a snow storm, stay indoors if possible.
- If you must go out, wear layered clothing, mittens or gloves and a hat.
- Cover your mouth with a scarf to protect your lungs and be sure to stay dry.
