Approximately 25 children, each with the hope of finding a permanent family will have the opportunity to get acquainted with families that are looking to adopt at the "adoption party" and videoconference on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness in downtown Atlanta.

This event will give prospective adoptive parents a unique opportunity to meet and interact with the children in a comfortable, fun-filled environment. Prospective adoptive parents who are unable to attend the party in Atlanta will have the opportunity to interact with the same group of children via video.

Videoconference sites will be set up at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Columbus State University, Fort Discovery in Augusta, Macon State College, Rome GTA Regional Office and Valdosta State University. The Division of Family and Children Services
