Rotary Club of Grand Junction recently donated $4,500 to the Who Pneu Committee to assist in an educational campaign aimed at getting Mesa County residents 65 years of age and older vaccinated against pneumonia.

The committee is comprised of representatives from the health care sector including Mesa County Health Department, Quality Health Network and Mesa County Physicians Independent Practice Association. People at high risk for complications from pneumococcal disease include:
