Healthy Lifestyles Classes
The Office of Chronic Disease Prevention of the Miami-Dade County Health Department is offering a series of healthy lifestyle classes starting this month.

"The goal of these classes is to educate the community on how to live a healthy and active lifestyle through eating a well-balanced diet, regular physical activity and not using tobacco products."
Free screenings for blood pressure and cholesterol will be available in addition to the classes.
Classes will begin Wednesday, May 9, 2007, and will be held every Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. and Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the West Perrine Health Center, 18255 Homestead Ave., Miami, Florida 33157.
