Health Research & Educational Trust Toolkit, Health Research & Educational Trust: The updated toolkit is intended to providehospitals, health systems, clinics and health plans information and resourcesnecessary for collecting race, ethnicity and primary language data frompatients to track the prevalence and nature of health disparities and helpfocus efforts to eliminate disparities and improve quality of care. The toolkitalso aims to help educate and inform hospital staff about the importance ofdata collection, how to implement a framework to collect data and how to usethe data to improve quality of care for all populations (HRET release, 1/16).
