Co-presenting on the topic of "Creating an Award-Winning Practice by Solidifying the Doctor-Patient Relationship" is senior editor of Physicians Practice, Pamela L. Moore, who will address how these solutions helped FMST win the 2006 Physicians Practice(R) annual Practice of the Year Award. The conference runs May 19-23, 2007 at the Dallas Convention Center.

Dr. Crow will discuss the key initiatives FMST undertook to create value for its patients through superior access, convenience, and communication, and to improve co-ordination of care with other providers. This award-winning practice demonstrates how using innovative technologies and programs from Kryptiq Corp., such as secure messaging and patient portals, practices can improve their service, accessibility, and office efficiency.

Dr. Crow will be joined by Dr. Pamela Moore of Physicians Practice. In her presentation, Dr. Moore will give her perspective on how the magazine selects the winner from the hundreds of entries received, including outlining how the best practices demonstrate revenue improvement, realistic use of available technology, and improved service. While many clinics believe having an electronic health record (EHR) is enough to be recognized, Dr. Moore will show how truly innovative practices leverage the EHR through refined workflows and tools that extend the power of the EHR beyond the walls of the practice.

The annual TEPR Conference and Exhibition is recognized as the leading annual educational conference and exhibition for health IT professionals and all others journeying Toward the Electronic Patient Record. TEPR 2007 offers a comprehensive overview of innovative products and solutions to answer all people's health IT needs. TEPR is considered one of the health IT industry's premier events.
