Sexual Contact Draws Suspension Of Lynnwood Massage Practitioner
A Lynnwood massage practitioner accused of inappropriately touching a female patient has been immediately suspended by the state Department of Health.
The agency suspended the massage license of Edward Kim (MA00013024), who cannot practice or be employed pending the outcome of a hearing into the allegations.
According to the statement of charges, Kim engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a patient while giving a massage. This included touching and penetrating her genitals.
Kim has 10 days to request a prompt hearing and 20 days to respond to the statement of charges.
