Some Dolmio Pasta Sauce Recalled

Mars Food UK is recalling some of its Dolmio Express Creamy Carbonara Pasta Sauce, because it might contain small pieces of hard plastic. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

The product recalled is:

* Dolmio Express Creamy Carbonara Pasta Sauce, 330g
* Best before: 11 June 2010, 12 June 2010
* Packaging: flexible plastic pouch

No other Dolmio Express products are known to be affected.

Product recall notices will appear in the national press on Wednesday 23 September. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores that sold the affected product. These notices will explain to customers why the product has been recalled. If you have bought an affected product, return it by post to the following address for a full refund:
