Best Ever Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts Recipe

I know many have tried boring and bland boiled Brussel sprouts. Understandably, you did not like them. However, these roasted brussel sprouts, crispy, slightly sweet, with roasted garlic, will forever change your mind. Will you try them Sam I Am? You’ll be glad you did! Promise!

They’re a good source of antioxidants, good for bone strength, high in Vitamin C, A and E and also has beneficial minerals. Not only will your taste buds breath a big sigh of contentment, so will your body! Not to mention the health benefits of garlic and maple syrup… Yum.

Best Ever Vegan Brussel Sprouts Recipe Maple Roasted

12 large brussel sprouts (cut in half)

3 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic (minced)

2 tbsp maple syrup

Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit

Place brussel sprouts on a cookie sheet, toss with olive oil and roast in oven, periodically turning over for about 45 minutes. Skins will be dark brown and crispy. Mix the garlic and maple syrup onto the sprouts and return to the oven for about 5 more minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.



oh, Jen. These sound AMAZING! I mean, I'm seriously drooling right now, and tempted to go straight to the store instead of sitting here and finishing my writing for the day. ;) I will try to update you after we make these! YUM! I think I might try them on the grill tomorrow outside...it's 110+ degrees heat index here today and expected to continue for several more days...so maybe turning on the oven wouldn't be the smartest idea.
Yes, they would certainly work on the grill outside too! Let me know what you think if you do try them. They are totally different than the old boiled, boring sprouts.
