6) Nasal wash

That might be a bit of an unpleasant approach, but its less unpleasant than a blocked nose and not being able to breath.

You can buy prepared sachets and an appropriate bottle to dilute the mixture and wash your nose or you can make your own nasal wash mixture and wash away all the snots.

7) garlic oil

Garlic is another fantastic ingredient that should be part of our daily diet, because it is a natural antibiotic with many amazing healing capabilities, such as: heart protection, aid in the recovery of stroke survivors, and even help with heavy metal detoxing.

How to make it?

My favorite garlic oil recipe includes:

1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil

Warm the oil slightly in a pan on the stove (not hot, just enough that it’s warm to the touch.)

Put the oil and garlic in the container together and put on the lid. For best results, let the oil and garlic infuse overnight for use the next day. If you needing a quick remedy, you can use some of the oil in 2-3 hours.

When ready to use, use your finger to rub the oil around the outside of the ear, throat or on the infected area, and this will greatly help to treat and cure viral respiratory issues.

If you wish to use any of these methods to treat your child instead of yourself, but are unsure. Then, consult a holistic doctor or a herbalist if you want more directions on how to use herbs to help children, for example. However, if you are an adult the treatments above will not only shorten viral respiratory issues, but will also help you go through viral infections without feeling it’s the end of the world!
