In the same way, weight loss does not have to be a boring endeavor. If you truly desire change and you want to see great results, the best way to achieve your goals is to enjoy the ride and by doing so the weight will begin to fall off.

In this article I will share 10 ways that you can lose weight and still have fun doing it. You can do some of these alone, but they are best done with friends to increase the level of enjoyment.
Play a game of ultimate frisbee. My favorite sport is actually one of the best sports for losing weight. You can actually burn more calories playing ultimate than most other sports. If you have ever played you know how intense it can be. Like soccer, you are constantly running around and pay doesn’t stop until someone scores. It is probably the most FUN sport I have ever played, and I think you should try it.
Join a yoga type exercise class with a group. Yoga exercise is a great way to lose weight and calm the mind. It is also a lot of fun when done in a group setting. Never done yoga before? No problem! Grab a few friends that are new to the activity and learn together. You will have a blast trying new poses and will be able to laugh at each other’s failures and applaud each other’s successes.
Send a healthy gift to a friend. There is nothing better than being able to give back to someone else. Sending a fruit basket to a friend that is trying to lose weight will give them a huge boost. It will also make you feel really good, which is an added benefit of giving.
Find a buddy and strength train. Lifting weights is one of the best ways to lose weight and it can keep you fit as well. When you start to replace fat with muscle you are able to burn more calories throughout the day, keep up your energy levels, and be more physically able to do fun activities.
Get an exercise ball. These things are great to sit on (I am sitting on one right now as I type this), and you can do a lot of really good ab exercises on them. It is might more exciting than sitting on a chair, and it keeps things interesting and fun.
Practice intervals or HIIT (high intensity interval training). You can do intervals on any type of cardio machine or even by running outside. The idea is to move as fast as you can for a brief period of time and then to rest for a time. When I run intervals I run for 1 minute at high speed and then walk slowly for 2 minutes for about 20-25 minutes total.
Biking - Biking gets you outside and enjoying the weather. It is fantastic to feel the breeze on your face as you speed along. It is hard to worry about life when you are pedaling, and biking is great for weight loss.
Walking - Walking is one of the easiest and most often overlooked weight loss tactics. It is by far the easiest way to get moving since it is so natural to us. Walking is a great way to spend some extra time with your significant other and better yet, bring the whole family. Try hiking to up the intensity.
Wear a Fitbit - I own a fitbit and I love it. It keeps me moving from day to day. Aim for 10,000 steps per day to be really active and to start to see results. Expert tip- Up your goal to 12,000 or above to keep yourself motivated. Once you start to hit 10,000 every day you will start to realize that it isn't too hard to get.
Tennis - I grew up playing tennis and I played in high school. It certainly helped me to keep the pounds off while I was growing up. It is a really fun sport that does not require a lot of equipment. By a cheap racket, some balls, grab a friend and head to a local court! Keeping score is complicated, but don’t worry too much about that at first.
