It is not easy to find gluten-free cream cheese if you suffer from celiac disease and gluten intolerance. It is even harder to find gluten-free and dairy-free cream cheese. However, several brands have created products that are both GF (gluten-free) and DF (dairy-free), so you can make cheesecake again or stop eating dry bagels.

Best gluten-free and dairy-free cream cheese brands

You cannot assume that all dairy products are safe for celiac disease or gluten intolerance because cross-contamination is possible, and some of the ingredients may contain gluten. You have to read ingredients carefully and make sure that each cheese or cream cheese product is safe.

I love Tofutti cream cheese! I really enjoy the Follow Your Heart brand so I'll have to check out their cream cheese if I can find it at my local grocery store. Great list, thanks for sharing!
I had no idea most dairy-free cream cheese had gluten! Thank you for these recommendations. Yum! I have seen a brand called "Spread 'Em" -- have you tried that one? It is cashew based.
A friend of mine has celiac disease and the way she discusses the things she can and cannot eat is so hard to hear. But to see you write a post about the types that could work with a person struggling with the disease is so lovely. Thanks for this, I'll be sharing it with her! Danielle | FollowMyGut.com <3
