Jessica Morgan Goodnight, a previous graduate student at Georgia State and lead author on this study, says people with this disorder worry uncontrollably about the future. This excessive worry leads to physical symptoms such as muscle tension and problems sleeping. The lives and relationships of sufferers of this condition are generally impaired.
