Jones Soda not your Traditional Soft Drink

Jones soda is an alternative soft drink made with pure cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Soft drinks have been linked to a variety of health problems including obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and fatty liver disease to name a few. Jones soda has been slipping into the soft drink market since 1980; serving up alternative beverages that break the soft drink tradition.

In addition to using pure cane sugar in their beverage Jones Zilch Zero calorie drinks are available and have no caffeine. Sugar free flavors include Cola, Black Cherry, Cream Soda, Green Apple, and Root Beer.


Each product has its own unique label with a customized quote on the bottle. If you go to the Jones soda website, you can submit your own photo that "just might" be used if the soft drink manufacturer likes it. You can even suggest a flavor. Some of the current flavor available "blue bubble gum", "Strawberry Lime", "Berry Lemonade", "Cream" and "Green Apple", but the flavors don't end there.

Jones soda offers a line of GABA products and WhoopAss high energy drinks. The GABA products contain gamma-aminobutyric acid that is supposed to produce a sense of calm GABA is a naturally produced neurotransmitter. GABA deficits are thought to lead to mental health disorders.

Jones soda also offers a line of clothing, lip balm and candy in addition to carbonated soft drinks and tea. Their limited edition products are worth watching and have included products to raise breast cancer awareness, and the likes of turkey and gravy soda for Thanksgiving. With their Christmas holiday pack Jones soda contributed a percentage of their sale proceed to Toys for Tots, marketing ham flavored and Christmas tree flavored soda, making them a far-cry from traditional soft drinks.
