Happiness is infectious. That's why we want to share the pure joy of Noah, a boy with Down syndrome as he opens a letter of acceptance to college. Noah Van Vooren of Little Chute, Wisconsin now has a chance to attend Edgewood College and it seems he could not be happier.

What is most incredible is that when Noah was born he was not expected to walk according to his doctors.

Noah reads his own letter, despite an offer from his dad to read the letter.

Watch the video and share the joy. Stay happy and those around you will too.

About Down syndrome

Down syndrome affects one out of 691 babies in the U.S. according to the National Down Syndrome Society.

The cause of the syndrome is an extra gene.

This isn't the first time Noah Van Vooren has made news headlines. He was featured on ESPN when he made a touchdown. Noah had been his high school football team's water boy.

Thanks to research we now know people with Down syndrome can lead healthy and fulfilling lives that include attending school, employment and marriage. We wish Noah continued success and a big thanks for sharing his college acceptance infectious happiness.
