On January 24 go to ladygaga.com to donate to Haiti. For those who attend the Monster Ball on January 24 in New York City, Lady Gaga will donate all of the proceeds to help earthquake victims in Haiti recover from the devastation and health risks they are facing that will continue to escalate.

Celebrities have come together to help Haiti, but you don’t have to be a celebrity yourself to contribute. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga talks about being in New York City during 911. She says she is afraid that young people may not really know what is going on in Haiti. Her performance is geared toward raising awareness about the hardship faced in Haiti as youth go about their daily lives.

Lady Gaga is joined by other celebrities in helping Haiti, the likes of which include John Travolta and George Clooney.

Lady Gaga will perform at Radio City Music Hall on January 24, donating the entire proceeds of the performance to assist in relief effort in Haiti. She is also selling Haiti relief t-shirts on her website.

One hundred percent of the sales of T-shirts will also go toward helping Haiti as well as other merchandise. Lady Gaga recently collapsed during a show in West Lafayette, Indiana allegedly from an irregular heartbeat and dehydration. She tweeted her fans saying, “An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing, can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage. I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything; you are everything to me.”

Lady Gaga at age 23 is extremely talented; her efforts to help Haiti show an unselfish spirit. Celebrities, families, organizations, and individual have all come forward to help Haiti in surprising and innovative ways. Consider little Suzanne Davis who, unable to travel with her father on his trip to Haiti with the international organization Food for the Hungry, organized a fund raiser called “Hot Chocolate for Haiti” in Winston-Salem, NC. Individuals of all ages, from all walks of life and from various organizations have found ways to help Haiti and Lady Gaga certainly seems to be doing her part. We wish her a speedy recovery and applaud her efforts to help the population of Haiti recover.
