Cutting one big tomato is easy, but what if you are making a tomato salad for number of people and need to cut number of tomatoes fast? It is possible doing them one by one. However, you are running into two types of risk.

It is likely you may hurt your fingers because tomatoes are small. It is also likely that since you are not cutting them equal sizes and squeezing them, you may squeeze the juice out of them.

Thus, here is what this creative chef, named DaveHax proposes on his YouTube channel. Take a plate and put your small tomatoes on the plate. Then take another plate, turn it upside down and place it on top. There should be a little gap in between the plates because of the tomatoes inside.

Than, take a sharp knife. Hold the top plate in place and carefully run the knife in between the plates. Make sure you don't cut yourself in the process.

Take the plate off and you have chopped every tomatoes nicely in half.
