It may be possible that many people cook bacon, one of the most beloved foods in the world, all wrong during this entire time. Here is how to cook bacon in the oven and on a stove.

As outlandish as it may sound if you cook bacon on the stove use water. It will help you to cook your bacon evenly and no area will remain undercooked.

Use water in the pan as the bacon cooks on the stove and promises an end result of bacon that is perfectly crisp with evenly rendered fat and no disappointingly undercooked areas.

If you don't want to cook your oven with water, then use your oven as most professional chefs do.

Simply lay out the bacon in a single layer onto a wire rack (over a foil-lined baking tray so you don’t make a mess) and cook the bacon in a very hot oven (preheated to 400 degrees F) for about 15 minutes. Or, actually, you are welcome to cook until the bacon reaches your preferred level.
