Results from a pre-selected, secondary outcome portion of the Women's Health Initiative Dietary Modification Trial, published in the February 8th issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, found diets low in total fat consumption did not significantly reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in postmenopausal women.
