Initially doctors thought that this Russian patient has cancer, but they were very amazed to find fir tree in his lung. A five-centimeter fir tree has been found in the lung of a man who complained he had a strong pain in his chest and was coughing blood.

The 28-year-old patient, Artyom Sidorkin, came to a hospital in the city of Izhevsk in Central Russia last week, Komsomolskaya Pravda daily reports. Doctors x-rayed his chest and found a tumor in one of the lungs. Suspecting cancer, they made a decision to perform biopsy, but when they cut the tissue, they were amazed to see green needles in the cut eventually removing a small fir tree from his lung.

“I blinked three times, and thought I was seeing things. Then I called the assistant to have a look,” says Vladimir Kamashev, doctor at the Udmurtian Cancer Center.

The five-centimeter branch was removed from the patient’s body.

“They told me my coughing blood was not caused by any disease,” Sidorkin says.

“It was the needles poking the capillaries. It really hurt a lot. But I never felt like I had an alien object inside of me.”

It is obvious that a five-centimeter branch is too large to be inhaled or swallowed, doctors say. They suggest that the patient might have inhaled a small bud, which then started to grow inside his body becoming a small fir tree in his lung. Meanwhile, the piece of lung with the little fir tree has been preserved for further study.

Impossible. The tree woud no be green in the dark lung (like I saw in another video.) Green color needs light.
Impossible for a plant to grow in human tissue. Also impossible for photosynthesis to take place, hence photos are fake. This story was reported in a Russian tabloid which reported on Bigfoot in the same issue.
this story is a hoax, it is impossible to ever even think that a tree can survive in the cavity of the body it would need enegy as in light to even become green whom ever even published this story ought to be fired or made fun of every day of their life
It is crazy but not impossible! that is the amazing part-the scientists do not understand why it grew without photosynthesis-it is a true story though! You tube also has a video of it as well but it made national headlines across the world!
if you've seen the pictures you'll notice the tree in the lung IS brown, showing it couldn't perform photosynthesis. I dont know if this is true or not, but stranger things have happened
Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide to sugars with light energy. Plants use sugar respiration in the dark, at a slower rate than photosynthesis produces sugar. Guess what, people have sugar in them, especially diabetics.
Awesome, now we don't hav to worry about deforestation. We can just grow trees in our lungs. When our blood puts CO2 into our lungs we won't even hae to use the energy to breath. Now we can jut let little trees turn the CO2 back into O2 and let the capillaries pick it back up. So what if we have to have a light source implanted in our lungs. Oh, I know, skin often allows the passage of light. We can strap strong lights to our chests/backs. It won't burn any worse then the pain of needles inside or lungs. Hey maybe now we can live on Mars. Yeeaaahhhhh lung trees!!!!!
