Dr. Sherry Pagoto is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Her expertise is in health, nutrition, fitness, weight management, depression, stress, cancer prevention, and type 2 diabetes. Dr. Pagoto has published over 70 papers in scientific journals including Obesity, Archives of Internal Medicine, Appetite, Nutrition, Journal of the American Dietitic Association, Vascular Medicine, International Journal of Behavioral Medicine, Health Psychology, Psychopharmacology, Diabetes Science & Technology, Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, Obesity Surgery, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, American Journal of Health Behavior, and Pharmacology, Biochemistry & Behavior on these topics. She has published several book chapters and is editor of a book titled Psychological Co-Morbidities of Physical Illness to be released by Springer in Fall 2011.
