Had a very similar history to Schraeder, and was walking around on mine for 7 months. In that time I had seen orthopaedic surgeons and my GP and a diabetic nurse. It was my podiatrist that picked mine up, I have now been off work for 3 months in a cast, which I hope will come off at the end of this month.
