The Health and Safety Department have published updated guidance for both individuals and managers to assist in ensuring the health and safety of new and expectant mothers.

The updated guidance includes advice on informing the employer, information on common hazards as well as guidance on carrying out a risk assessment for new and expectant mothers.
Further advice is available from Human Resources and / or the Occupational Health Unit.
