Walgreens is stocking ALCiS Health's over-the-counter topical pain relief cream, ALCiS Daily Relief, at all of its 6,237 stores. Its introduction onto Walgreens' shelves across the United States marks the product's first national retail drug store account.

Brian Berchtold, president and CEO of ALCiS Health said, "I'm pleased with the reception ALCiS Daily Relief is getting by consumers and health care professionals alike."

Since its inception in 2004, ALCiS has focused on a sampling and educational program for health care professionals to help establish the ALCiS brand and demonstrate the product's efficacy to the medical community. Over 5,000 medical professionals, including pain specialists, rheumatologists, orthopedic surgeons and family practitioners, participate in the ALCiS sampling program.

"My patients who have used ALCiS Daily Relief have told me that they love this product," said Lonnie Zeltzer, MD, Director, Pediatric Pain Program, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. "It's not messy, it's easy to use, and it relieves sore muscles."
