for eMaxHealth(NC) If you think you would like to try Indian food, the cuisine of at least a billion people, take a look at the Indian line by President's Choice, and start with the newest addition, Indian Butter Chicken. During the first few weeks of this product's introduction in the PC Insider's Report, many stores sold out when consumers bought multiple quantities at a time.
PC product developers have brought home countless food ideas from around the world in the past 20 years and the foods of India are simply tantalizing. Joining the original entrees, Chicken Korma and Chana Masala, the new Indian Butter Chicken is a traditional dish containing pre-cooked chicken tenders in a rich tomato-based sauce with garlic, ginger, tandoori and other cuisine spices. This entree also comes with a side of Basmati rice and since North Americans have different opinions on how much spicy "heat" they like in Indian food, PC has appraised the Indian Butter Chicken dish at "mild" on the heat level indicator.
"We are thrilled with the early success of these products," say Paul Uys, VP of Innovation at President's Choice. "We couldn't be more excited. This proves yet again how the tastes of Canadian consumers has changed over the past many years".
