The Homeopathy Method

Homeopathy, one of the alternative medical methods has become very popular worldwide. The word 'homeopathy' is a combination of two Greek words 'homo' meaning 'likewise' and 'pathos' meaning 'disease.' The method of treatment is based upon the principle that any disease with definite symptoms can be cured with the same instruments that cause these symptoms in a healthy organism. In other words, "Similia similibus curentur."

The founder of Homeopathy, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), was a famous German doctor at the end of the 18th century. At first he conducted experiments with cinchona tree bark on patients suffering from malaria. The bark causes the same symptoms that malaria does; and when the doctor prescribed tiny portions of cinchona tree bark it caused symptoms which successfully cured the disease. The researcher was surprised to find out that concentration of a small portion of some substance may be reduced by dissolving it in water. Contemporary researchers doubted that it was actually so.

Modern research methods allow measuring the amount of substance in liquid and in majority of homeopathic medicines with the scale where "the potentiality 20" contains no molecules of the original substance. The phenomenon breaks the conception of the law of conservation of mass, that is why the scientific world is sure that homeopathy is based upon the placebo effect, in other words upon hypnosis. But there are over 160 evidences reported in reliable medicine sources showing homeopathy is effective.

Homeopathic medicines are made by energetic jogging, diluting the substance ten or one hundred times and then another jogging. Homeopathy experts also study the constitution of a patient that determines his character and individual peculiarities when he is healthy. It is important for homeopathy doctors to know how often their patients suffer from a disease to prescribe an effective course of treatment. Patients with high perspiration should not be prescribed medicines not connected with perspiration otherwise it will take a long period for patients to recover.

Homeopathy is a really complicated sphere that is why modern drug stores make a mistake when recommend clients non-dosated usage of homeopathic medicines for treating various diseases. Homeopathy is effective only when it is applied for every particular patient taking his peculiarities into consideration, not only the symptoms of a disease. It is an important condition for those who want homeopathy be really effective. This is the reason why many attempts of applying homeopathy fail.

Homeopathy may be successfully applied under various conditions in case vital forces of a patient are active or not damaged; homeopathic medicines produce the healing reaction from inside. Homeopathy is not recommended for patients with impaired organisms because it may make the healthy of patients even poorer in this case.
