    Connie Culp who underwent the first face transplant surgery in the U.S. was so awe inspiring at today's news conference. In December, Cleveland Clinic did the first U.S. face transplant, a procedure which took 22-hour. At the time nothing was revealed about the patient. Today she came forth and stepped in front of the camera at a Cleveland Clinic press conference.

    Jeff Kepner, 57, lost both hands and feet to sepsis ten years ago. In a surgery which took more than 15 hours, UPMC surgeons have successfully completed a double hand transplant for him. This is the first to be done in the United States.

    The FDA has announced changes to the safety label on botulinum toxin due to reports that the effects of the toxin may spread from the area of injection to other areas of the body causing serious adverse problems. This new label requirement is required on Botox and Botox Cosmetic (botulinum toxin type A); Myobloc (botulinum toxin type B); and a new FDA-approved product, Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA).
