Doctor's offices begin to fill up 48 to 72 hours after theHalloween binging! Then comes Thanksgiving next comesChristmas for some and Hanukah for others followed by New Years bash, which means the season is in full swing. Each holiday is a food frenzy marathon and sets up an immune killing binge on a large and serious scale with colds and flu coming on more and more Once you have it the body easily accepts it back again.
All those goodies - pies, cakes, candies, eggnog, etc. " has put your immune system into a tail spin and left you wide open for any virus or bacteria that you come in contact with. Every sneeze you hear, and some that you don t hear, puts you in danger of coming down with some viral or bacterial infection.
However, this season doesn t have to be devastating to you, IF you take immediate action to prevent that scenario from becoming your reality and you practice smart. Avoid the colds and flu season with a strong fighting immune system that will leave you out of the illness loop this year. It can be done.
My husband and I simply do not catch viruses or bacterial infections and we are out and about, several days a week, among all the sneezing and coughing crowds but we escape their maladies! We keep our immune system in tune and at the first hint Ionic Silver Water to the rescue.
Here are some guidelines set up by the Association of Naturopathic Physicians (ANP) to help build and/or repair your immune system.
First line of defense should always be prevention, which starts with taking a good high potency multivitamin daily as well as a high potency complete mineral from a reputable source, such as a health food store, naturopathic physician or other natural health practitioner. The multivitamin should contain a minimum of 1000 mg. vitamin C, 50,000 IU vitamin A (unless pregnant), 400 IU vitamin E, 15 mg. zinc and 25+ mg. of B vitamins.
You take these faithfully but you still become ill? Something the ANP failed to mention, but several doctors have told me over the years that vitamin and mineral supplements should be in a liquid, capsule or chewable fast dissolving form. And minerals should include at least 84 of the minerals and trace minerals that your body requires to support all bodily functions effectively. 24 or 36 won't get you to that total balanced state of health. If yours does not contain this then you're wasting your money.
Very important to your bones, tendons, muscles and organs is plenty of hydration. You should drink at least one quart of filtered/purified water (not distilled) for every 50 pounds of body weight daily. Avoid caffeinated fluids and alcohol as they dehydrate you. Yes, I've read those people out there that say water isn't necessary but the healthy people who are living long lives prove that idea to be wrong.
Make sure you are taking a high potency Antioxidant dissolvable supplement daily!
Do not shake hands with sneezing, coughing sick people, unless you know for sure your immune system is a strong fighting machine for you.
Wash your hands often throughout the day when in contact with doors, phones, paper products and people in general. This one act can prevent a multitude of sickness!
If you have failed these preparations you can expect to join those people spreading germs cold and flu all around.
