So what do you get for the nut that has everything, including more than his fair share of neuroses? How about the Ask Doctor Chuck talking therapy doll?

You can at once give a gift and perform a public service, by providing someone who needs it, their own personal and portable psychotherapist. The Ask Doctor Chuck doll can help keep your favorite kook in line, which could earn you the undying gratitude of the rest of your friends and family.

It is of course, an incredibly stressful time of year. Think how helpful it would be for those who are barely tethered to the mother ship at the best of times, to have the guidance offered by the Ask Doctor Chuck doll, when he reassures them by saying things like;

"You are the finest example of self esteem and humility I've ever seen." Or, "In your case it really is your parents fault."

The Ask Doctor Chuck doll is the product of the unlikely duo of Chuck Berke a real life psychotherapist and Larry Berk, a self proclaimed real life psycho ... no relation. One evening after having seen a large number of clients, Chuck the therapist called his friend Larry, a talented marketing executive, with an idea for the doll.

"I was really hoping Larry would talk me out of this idea but instead he got all excited," says Berke. "That's when I knew I was in big trouble. Once Larry gets his teeth into something he's like a bulldog that's gotten a hold of your pant leg."

Berke the therapist says that he has noticed that most of his clients take their successes for granted and their mistakes too much to heart. "Larry and I decided to get the little fellow out there because we both think folks need to lighten up, already. We feel like this time of year is a great time for breaking up the tension with a laugh or two."

According to Berke "The more stress we are under the more likely we are to exhibit our very worst traits. "The doll is meant to be a fun way to check our negative impulses and to remind ourselves to use our sense of humor and enjoy the holiday season rather than just trying to tolerate or even just survive it."

Larry Berk says, "The people who purchase the Ask Doctor Chuck doll are generally folks who have a little twinkle in their eye all year long. Chuck and I just want to make sure they don't lose that twinkle when the need it most-when it's the season to be jolly."
