Fathers' Day fun family event will offer free blood pressure, stroke, prostate and body mass index screenings for men.
Summa Health System, in conjunction with the American Heart Association and the Brother to Brother Project, will host Dad's Day Saturday, June 9, 2007 12:00 " 3:00 p.m. at the Akron Zoo.
Registration is required and can be done by calling 800-23-Summa (800-237-8662). The event is free to registrants (up to four people per family). Additional tickets are $9 for adults and $5.50 for children 2-14 years old. Discounted lunches also will be available.
As part of Summa's commitment to provide ongoing education and health screening services to men, this event was made possible by funds raised from last year's Men Who Cook benefit.
