Childhood Obesity in Indiana

State Health Commissioner Judy Monroe to help kick-off a two-day event to support the prevention of childhood obesity.

At this event at the South Bend Marriott, 123 N. St. Joseph Street, the city of South Bend will be honored as one of the first We Can! (Ways to Enhance Children's Activity & Nutrition) cities in the nation.

"We can prevent childhood obesity by addressing bad behaviors early in life," said Dr. Monroe.
