A British mixed race couple, Alison Spooner and Dean Durrant, have become parents to twin girls for the second time. Both times each set of twins has included one black and one white twin girl.

In 2001, Dean, who is black, and Alison, who is white, welcomed their first set of twin daughters Lauren and Hayleigh.

The couple were surprised to find that their second set of twins were also born with different colored skin. Miya has her father's black skin and Leah is white like her mother.

The probability of having two sets of different colored twins is estimated to be "one in millions".

The family is all home now... Looking forward to a happy healthy new year times two.
