NutriSystem Advances Weight-Loss Category

NutriSystem launched NutriSystem Advanced, the company's breakthrough weight-loss and health and wellness platform.

Grounded in the latest advances in dietary science, NutriSystem Advanced is a complete program that includes new proprietary ingredient blends to support heart health. NutriSystem Advanced replaces NutriSystem Nourish, the company's core weight-loss program.

Leveraging NutriSystem's industry-leading scientific research, NutriSystem Advanced is the most comprehensive wellness initiative yet for the company, which has served more than 1.3 million clients in 2007, including Tori Spelling, Marie Osmond, Tony Orlando, Dan Marino, Joey Fatone and many other celebrities. The NutriSystem patent-pending technologies aided in the development of heart-healthy, high-satiety enhancements, including soluble fibers and Omega-3 fatty acids, for the new NutriSystem Advanced offerings.

NutriSystem Advanced includes dozens of great-tasting new meals, all of which contain one of NutriSystem's new, proprietary blends of heart-healthy ingredients. Primary among these are OmegaSol, a patent-pending combination of heart-healthy soluble fibers and Omega-3 fatty acids that work to help promote a healthy heart while losing weight, and NutriSol, an additional blend of soluble fibers that are naturally present in oats, fruits and whole grains and help reduce hunger and control appetite. NutriSystem Advanced continues to build upon the Glycemic Advantage by using "good carbs" in all of its foods.
